Forbes magazine recognized Addison Rae in August of 2020, as one of the top-performing TikToker around the globe. It is also among the most followed people on TikTok. Apart from being famous on TikTok Addison Rae is also very popular in other social media platforms, including Instagram YouTube and Twitter. In 2021 she debuted as a performer with the track "Obsessed". The single debuted at number 4 among New Zealand Hot Singles and the video ranked 6th on YouTube the day it released. Addison Rae was also nominated for prestigious awards such as the People's Choice Awards, MTV Movie & TV Awards, and Kids' Choice Awards.
