Ina Garten is an American author of cookbooks on cooking and Emmy Award-winning host for Food Network's longest-running program Barefoot Contessa that debuted in 2002 has 27 seasons to 2020. Ina Garten began her professional career at the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy as well as budget reports. She initially found her career interesting and stimulating however she soon lost interest, and opened a food specialty store named Barefoot Contessa. The store was a success for 18 years. the shop extremely popular prior to selling it and picking up the pen to begin writing her first cookbook. Other cookbooks followed, as magazines too.
