Cassandra Monique Batie also known as Andra is an American R&B and soul the singer/songwriter. Apart from receiving a Grammy Award and Golden Globe Award she's also up for nomination as the winner of an Academy Award. Andra Day is an imposing musician and artist who does not just play throwback R&B specialist her roots in gospel music and blues she performs with grace and finesse are passed on to the present. Her first appearance on television was in, appearing on shows like Orange Is the New Black & Blue Bloods. After that, she made her movie debut with Halloween as well as its sequels as Allyson.
