Lisa Olivia Munn was conceived in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid was born in Vietnam and has Chinese heritage, yet her father Winston Barrett Munn comes from the Southern part of the family. Olivia was two years old at the time her parents separated. The family now is run by her stepfather and mom. He's a United States Air Force soldier. Olivia was raised mostly at Tokyo and Japan. Even though her family was relocated from Oklahoma and to numerous other areas, it was the city of Tokyo which she completed most of her schooling. When she was in Japan, she acted as an actor in local theatre performances, and later was a Japanese models for fashion. Olivia was a model who moved with her family to Los Angeles in order to achieve her dream of becoming an actress and continued working towards her goal after the family returned to America. Olivia's acting career took off following a few small role. Olivia was cast in the role of Mily in the Hawaii-lensed series Beyond the Break (2005) as well as the role of receptionist for Rob Schneider in Big Stan (2006). The G4 podcasts include "The Daily Nut" along with "Formula D". She enjoys surfing, which she continues practicing since the television series Beyond the Break (2006). She also holds Black Belt in Taekwondo. Her mother remarried at the age of two years old, to an Air Force Officer. They have relocated numerous times. She was a majority of her youth in Tokyo Japan since that was the place where her father worked. Attended at the University of Oklahoma, where she earned a degree in journalism. She also minored in Japanese and drama arts.
